Granada Spanish Lingua is offering a package that combines 10 hours of private one on one online lessons that you can take from home plus a one-week Spanish immersion course in Granada, Nicaragua, for only $375.  If you have already signed in for an in-country program you may be eligible for this option.

The upgraded package includes ten 50-minute online lessons through Skype that can be taken before or after the immersion school stay to help students get the most out of this experience.
Granada Spanish Lingua is the immersion school conducting the classes. The week long stay is in Granada, Nicaragua. The Granada portion of the package includes 20 hours of classroom instruction conducted completely in Spanish, small classes, native Nicaraguan Spanish teachers, private accommodations in Nicaraguan homes, three meals a day, and tours of some of Granada’s historical and cultural landmarks.

The classes are four hours a day, usually in the morning, leaving the afternoons free for tours arranged by the school. These afternoon activities are all conducted in Spanish to provide students the chance to practice Spanish in real settings. These can include visits to clinics, museums, cooperatives, artisan shops, small factories, farms, NGO and government projects; dance, music, art, and handiwork classes; visits and lectures by community leaders; and hikes and local tours.

Granada is one of the oldest cities in the Americas, founded in 1524 by Spaniards in the same place native Nicaraguans used to call Xalteva. It is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Central America and has become a popular tourist destination.
